Photography and Lighting Classes
As a creative’s third space, Studio 701 will periodically host classes and workshops on photography topics and themes. Anytime classes are listed here, workshops and other events will be listed on the Events page. If you need a quick tutorial for our studio prior to a booking, you can sign up for our $20 intro course here.
Classes are one-on-one sessions available on-demand during normal business hours. Basic courses ($100) are available of any skill level, advanced ($200) are recommended only for those who are comfortable with the basics.
Workshops will be similar to classes, but are designed for multiple participants and include more hands-on learning but without as much direct supervision from instructors. Some workshops include the hiring of a professional model. Workshops are not hosted on a specific schedule, watch our Events page and social media to be informed of when we will have them!
Sometimes we will host a professional model in the studio or another location, open to photographers of all skill levels to book time with them. There will likely be a theme or genre associated with these sessions, and most of the cost will go to the model.
